Intel Haswell is here and currently the high end Quad Core parts are available for purchase. Haswell is Intel’s 4th generation core processor. Its performance gains in the Desktop market are 5-20% on the CPU front over Sandy & Ivy Bridge processors, and 25-30% performance gains on the GPU front over Ivy Bridge. Please note that currently the Core i3 Haswell Lineup is not available for purchase as Intel has chosen to release them in stages starting at the high end, which is exactly what we saw with Sandy & Ivy Bridge processors.
