Earlier this week AMD announced its Richland APU Series. Richland is a small update to the Trinity series released in 2012. It should be noted that Richland shares the same underlying architecture as Trinity, but comes with higher CPU and GPU frequencies. Richland is fully compatible with current FM2 socket motherboards, but depending on the motherboard a bios update may be required. Full listing of Richland APU can be seen in the table below.
